Drop Float Switch


A unique design switch which keeps the pivot area free from the fluid making them ideal for use in hot drink vending machines etc. Drop float types for monitoring upper level and extended drop float types for monitoring lower level in a tank.

Float positioned below the switch in N/C position
Switch opens well before liquid level reaches the float pivot
Polypropylene and PPS are WRAS approved, products for use in hot and cold water

This float switch from Sensata Cynergy3 notifies you of changes in the liquid levels inside a container. The device has an extended drop float actuator that keeps the switch housing and float pivots out of the liquid. This helps to eliminate limescale, making it suitable for use in wall kettles and hot vending machine applications. When the liquid level is low, the switch remains in the closed position. The switch opens up when the liquid level rises, helping to prevent overflow when filling the container.
