RS PRO External Float Switch, HDPE, NO, 5 m, 250 V, 24 V


This float switch from RS PRO is designed to sense the level of liquid in a tank or container. It allows for the automatic control of water levels in wastewater pumps and can also act as a high water alarm. You can use it when filling or emptying a tank or in industrial waterworks.

Because the unit is insensitive to turbulence, it won't give a false reading due to water ripples caused by wind. It's hermetically sealed with polyurethane for maximum protection of its inner components. This also makes the switch highly resistant to corrosion so there's little chance of it rusting. The blow-moulded, high-pressure polyurethane (HDPE) casing comes with a 5 m PVC (polyvinyl chloride) cable with protective earth conductor as standard.

The unit is capable of working at depths of up to 100 m, so it's extremely versatile. It makes an ideal choice for smaller tanks or constricted spaces.
