    Pneumatic filter regulators, sometimes also referred to as pressure regulators, are devices used to regulate air and maintain a stable source of pressure for a wide range of process control equipment. High pressure enters the regulator through an inlet and into the valve chamber where an adjustable knob operates a spring to generate a force, causing the valve to open. This applies pressure to a piston that causes the valve to close until the required amount of pressure is maintained and regulated. The combination of a filter ensures that any air or liquid that is regulated is filtered and clean, helping to prolong the life of pneumatic devices. Filter regulators are used in a wide range of devices and pneumatic equipment and are commonly found in areas such as:

    • The RS Pro B49G series is a pneumatic manual drain filter regulator which has G 1/2 size port connection and 5μm filter element. The regulator has a push to lock adjusting knob with built in tamper resistant feature. The regulator has a die-cast aluminium housing, an ABS seal and a polyethylene filter insert.
