Festo Filter Regulator, 40μm, G 3/8 - LFR-3/8-D-MIDI

Want to protect downstream equipment from the warm, dirty or moist air that can exit a compressor? This filter regulator from Festo's LFR series controls the speed of the airflow and ensure a clean, dry air supply, so you can prevent damage and prolong the life of your components. The filter separates out liquids from the air and traps solid particles as small as 40μm, meaning it will catch anything that can be seen by the naked eye. This device can be used at pressures of up to 16bar, and it's fitted with a G 3/8 port connection for standard use.

• Metal bowl guard provides durable protection for the filter element

• Pressure gauge enables you to monitor operation

• Rotary knob with lock will set the speed of the airflow

• Manual drain means you can release the condensate at a convenient time

Applications

• Regulators

• Lubricators

• Directional control valves

• Air-driven cyclinders

Where would I install a filter regulator?

A filter regulator should be installed in the air line, upstream of the devices that you're driving.
