It's supplied unterminated, so you can fit the connectors you need. Cables of this kind are commonly used in campus environments.

The cable's loose-tube design makes it especially suitable for harsh outdoor environments, as the fibre core is protected by an outer jacket of cladding and coating. The eight-core cable's multimode fibres will easily support a connection over the distances that enterprise and data-centre networks usually require.

The cable also comes sheathed in flame-retardant, Low-Smoke Zero-Halogen (LSZH) material. This means that it will produce significantly less smoke and toxic gas in the event of a fire, making it easier for people to evacuate the area. This also makes it suitable for use in poorly ventilated areas, such as tunnels and skyscrapers.
