RS PRO Black Bench / Floor ESD-Safe Mat, 1.2 m x 600 mm x 1.5 mm
Safely pack, unpack and handle electrostatic discharge sensitive (ESDS) devices with this ESD-safe mat kit. Designed to minimise the risk of static electricity damage, it creates a temporary EPA (electrostatic discharge protected area). It's usually found in commercial environments, including server rooms and labs.
The mat has dimensions of 1.2 m (L), 600 mm (W) and 1.5 mm (D). The kit comes complete with a wrist band and two ground cords. One cord connects to the mat and the earth terminal of the equipment being serviced, while the other connects to the mat and wrist band.
As part of our RS PRO range, all components in the kit have been tested for durability and consistency. It comes with a carry pouch to reduce the risk of damage when you're out on site. Used it when working with computer equipment such as hard drives and CPUs.
