RS PRO Connecting ESD Grounding Cord 10 mm, 1 m Straight
Achieve protection for workers and equipment from electrostatic discharge (ESD) with this grounding cord. Part of our trusted RS PRO range, it meets our quality-control standards.
This cord can be attached to electronic assembly elements and sensitive equipment to ground them and prevent them from damage. It works by sending static from the EPA (the ESD-protected area) to the ground, so dangerous voltages are avoided.
It's easy to use. Simply attach the press studs on either end to work mats and ground outlets. When connected, static electricity is delivered to the ground to keep workers and products safe from harm. The total length of the cord is 1 M, and the stud size is 10 mm.
This grounding cord can be adapted to EPAs of various shapes and sizes. It complies with BS EN (British Standards adopted by European Norms, or Standards) 61340-5-1:2007 Electrostatic Control Standards.
