The MikroElektronika Add-on Board is used for secure and certified random number generation in cryptographic systems where high entropy and compliance are essential. It is built around the RNG90 random number generator from Microchip which adheres to NIST SP 800-90A to 90C standards and delivers 256-bit random numbers with 128-bit security strength. With I2C communication support and tamper detection features the board is Ideal for applications in password generation cryptocurrency wallets and defence-grade systems requiring robust data protection.
Operates on 3.3V to 5V logic levels
Unique 72-bit serial number for device identification
Supports I2C Interface up to 400kHz with Advanced tamper detection
