Sensata | Crydom Interface Relay Module, PCB Mounting, 31.2g Weight - 0.6" Series - IDC5

Protect your equipment and transmit signals safely with this interface relay module from Sensata | Crydom. An optical isolation of 4kV and signal conditioning circuitry ensure the signal inputs to your microprocessor and digital systems won't be affected by fluctuations in the power supply. This unit also stands up to electromagnetic interference, so you can rest assured that vital processes will continue uninterrupted. You'll commonly find this component used in applications such as medical equipment, power installations and radio-electronics.

Features & Benefits

• Wide operating temperature range of -30°C to +80°C makes it suitable for use in harsh industrial environments
• Through-hole mounting ensures a robust, vibration-proof connection to your PCB

What's optical isolation?

Optical isolation uses an optoisolator to convert an input electrical signal into a light signal using an LED. A light-sensitive component in the device, such as a photodiode, converts the light signal back into an electrical signal. This creates an effective barrier to overvoltages or transient voltages from the input, helping to provide a stable output to your device.
