The TE Connectivity silicone fusion tape is extruded from high performance silicone rubber and is self-adhering, self-fusing to eliminate special treatments. It cures into a solid rubber insulator at room temperature in 24 hours or less and forms an inseparable barrier that resists moisture penetration at temperatures up to 260°C. The high thermal conductivity of the tape allows for rapid heat dissipation for lower temperature rise in all types of electrical connections.
