The Microchip 24C02C series of 2K bit serial EEPROM offers a operating voltage range of 4.5V to 5.5V. This low-power CMOS technology device is organized as a single block of 256 x 8-bit memory with a 2-wire serial interface. The device has a page write capability for up to 16 bytes of data and has fast write cycle times of only 1 ms for both byte and page writes. Along with more than 1 million read/write cycles it provides data retention of over 200 years. Also, ESD protection of more than 4000 V. The device is cascadable up to 8 devices. It has Schmitt trigger inputs for noise suppression and self-timed erase/write cycle. The device provides 100 kHz and 400 kHz clock compatibility and self-timed erase/write cycle.
