4D Systems Gen4 3.5in Display Module Starter Kit


The 4D Systems Gen4 display module starter kit is a 3.5in integrated colour TFT LCD with resistive touch powered by the well-known 4D systems Diablo16 graphics processor, which offers an array of functionality and options for designer users. The operating supply voltage range between 4V and 5.5V. This display module includes Gen4 integrated display module, gen4-IB Interface board, Gen4 Programming Adaptor (gen4-PA), 4GB micro-SD Card, 5-way cable for easy connection to a breadboard or host via the gen4-IB and 30-way 150mm FFC cable accessory boards for a range of functionality advancements.

• 16 x general-purpose I/O pins support fast 8-bit parallel data transfer through upper 8 bits
• 32kb SRAM memory for user application code and data
• Display full-colour images with 320x480 resolution, RGB 65K true to life colours
• It has PWM audio pin driven by WAV files from micro-SD card, and for sound generation, for an external amplifier.
• On-board latch type micro-SD memory card connector for multimedia storage and data logging purposes
• One SPI dedicated for SD card and 3x configurable SPI channels available.
• Three I2C channel interface
