RS PRO 9 Way Right Angle Through Hole D-sub Connector Socket, 2.77 mm Pitch
This component from our trusted RS PRO range is a right-angle D-sub connector socket with nine connectors. You can use it to create I/O (input/output) connections between various devices. The connectors have machined contacts with a right-angled bend so you can insert them into the back of components where space is limited.
The contacts feature gold over nickel plating to make the installation easy and assure the connection is precise and reliable. The steel shell of this connector socket has dimples to provide reliable grounding.
You can see D-sub connector sockets like this piece used in military, industrial and computer applications to create power as well as communication and network port connections between various devices. Each plug is tested against electrostatic discharge (ESD) requirements and complies with ANSI/ESD S20.20:2014 and BS EN 61340-5-1:2007 standards, so you can be certain the risk of ESD is minimised.
