RS PRO 9 Way Cable Mount D-Sub Connector Plug


Used to easily set up a circuit board in the field, this RS PRO 9 way cable mount D-Sub connector plug is made to handle demanding conditions.

The straight-orientated male plug has a rugged waterproof design. It has silicone cable-end gaskets and rubber pads, as well as fully-sealed solder bucket connectors. These contribute to its IP67 rating, which means the unit will keep out dust and water. For durability, this plug has a robust steel shell that's plated with nickel to prevent corrosion. The gold-coated contacts are made from a high-grade copper alloy and insulated with the thermoplastic polymer PBT (polybutylene terephthalate).

RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) compliant, the plug contains low levels of dangerous materials. It operates safely at temperatures between -40°C to +80°C and is used throughout industry for computer interfaces.
