RS PRO 9-Way D-Sub Plug/RJ45 Socket Adapter, Shielded


Once a staple of the computer industry, the 9-pin D-Sub socket is still common in environments such as factories and manufacturing plants, where its robust design comes into its own. This registered jack (RJ) adapter from the RS PRO range is shielded with a metallised moulded cover. This protects the connection from electromagnetic interference for cleaner data transmission.

The modular RJ45 jack adapter has colour-coded crimp contacts ready for loading as required. Assembled D-type connectors snap into adapter covers to provide a neat interface assembly and each adapter is fitted with finger-operated jack screws so it can be easily installed in a panel.

The socket has been stringently tested according to international standards, so you can be sure it contains only minimal amounts of hazardous substances like lead (RoHS). It also won't damage equipment via electrostatic discharge (ANSI/ESD S20.20:2014 and BS EN 61340-5-1:2007).
