They're built to a size and shape that reflects the latest advances in ergonomics. The handles are rounded for maximum comfort and covered with soft anti-slip rubber. Their anti-shock features also make them easy to use, as they require only half the effort to sever the wire, compared to standard wire cutters.
The cutters meet American (ANSI/ESD S20.20:2014) and British (BS EN 61340-5-1:2007) electrostatic control standards, meaning they won't damage your circuitry via electrostatic discharge. Cutters of this kind are used for building electronic circuits of all kinds.
