The 700S-CF530EJC unit is an 8-Pole Safety Contactor with 24 V dc Electronic Coil voltage. The base contact configuration is 3NO/1C, and the front auxiliary contact configuration is 2NO/2NC. The current rating is 25 A.

Much like relays, a contactor is an electromagnetic device which is designed to switch electrical current through its contacts. It can switch a larger amount of electrical power than normal relays and can therefore be used for more heavy-duty, larger-scale applications, such as switching several different circuits simultaneously.
