LC1K0601E7 is a compact 3-pole TeSys K contactor from Schneider Electric for motor applications. Rated 6A AC-3 2.2kW@400V, it includes a 48V 50/60Hz AC coil and 1NC auxiliary contact. LC1K0601E7 is a 3-pole TeSys K contactor from Schneider Electric for simple motor applications rated up to 2.2kW@400V. Very compact, DIN-rail compatible, with connections by screw clamp terminals, it includes a 48V 50/60Hz AC coil and 1NC built-in auxiliary contact. Available worldwide, it complies with multi-standards (IEC, UL, CSA, CCC, EAC, Marine) and is certified Green Premium (RoHs/Reach). Very compact, 45mm wide, for DIN-rail and panel mounting. Provides a control circuit compatible with 50Hz and 60Hz supplies and 1NC built-in auxiliary contact. Optimized for simple power applications. Can be completed with auxiliary contact blocks (LA1K, LA2K) and thermal relays (LR2K).

What does the utilisation category AC1 and AC3 mean for the TeSys contactors?


Contactor utilisation categories define the current making and breaking values, based on the type of load to be controlled and the operating cycle conditions.

AC-1: This applies to all AC devices with a power factor of at least 0.95. Example of use: resistive load, heating, distribution.

AC-3: This applies to squirrel cage motors where breaking occurs while the motor is running. Example of use: all squirrel cage motors, lifts, escalators, conveyors, bucket elevators, compressors, pumps, mixers, air conditioning units.
