The MikroElektronika add-on board is designed to provide reliable cellular connectivity for embedded systems in the European region. It features the SIM7500E LTE Cat 1 module from SIMCom, supporting LTE-FDD, HSPA+, and GSM networks with multi-band coverage. The board includes UART, USB, and I2C interfaces for flexible communication and firmware upgrades. It offers multi-constellation GNSS support for location tracking, although GNSS functionality is not enabled on this board. Visual indicators and onboard switches simplify debugging, power control, and operational mode selection.

Supports LTE Cat 1 connectivity with data rates up to 10Mbps downlink and 5Mbps uplink

Includes UART USB and I2C interfaces for host communication and peripheral access
