RS PRO Earth Tag for use with BNC Connectors, TNC Connectors


RS PRO earth tags provide external grounding to ensure earthing continuity. When earthing is not carried out it can lead to corrosion, noise and may also result in equipment failure. Over time, poor earthing may also pose a fire hazard from dangerous sparking. Using these earth tags with RS PRO BNC/TNC Connectors ensures safety for equipment and personnel.

Each RS PRO earth tag has a panel thickness tolerance of 2 mm to 3 mm. Made from brass, the tags are silver-plated for excellent conductivity and corrosion resistance. These tags are also stringently checked for short-circuiting to assure maximum safety and reliability. Part of the RS PRO range, the product is strictly tested to ensure quality.

Apart from open-entry connections, earth tags are used with metallic cable glands in non-metallic enclosures to give earthing continuity.
