Coaxial cables are used to carry high-frequency electrical signals with low signal losses. The RS PRO RG62A/U coaxial cable is a practical choice for use in computer, video, radio-frequency signal and broadcast applications, as its electrical characteristics prevent drops in the signal's voltage.

This 100-m cable comprises a solid 0.64-mm-diameter copper-clad steel inner conductor with a semi-air-spaced polyethylene (PE) dielectric and braided copper shielding. This is encased in an outer sheath made of black polyvinyl chloride (PVC) that provides effective protection in a wide range of temperatures.

This flame-retardant, low-smoke cable has an operational temperature range of -30°C to +70°C. It's RoHS compliant so contains no hazardous materials and halogen-free so it won't release toxic chemicals in case of fire. It also meets ANSI/ESC and BS EN standards for electrostatic control. The cable comes with no terminators, so you can use the connector best suited to your specific purpose.
