RS PRO Duroplast Knurled Male Knobs
Knobs are used in a wide variety of applications in our day-to-day lives and perform many functions, from being used as fixed handles to being used to tighten, loosen, adjust, clamp and push other components or pieces of equipment. They are used in various applications, from industrial and construction machinery to audio and visual equipment.
These male knobs are made from a combination of a Duroplast body and a zinc-plated threaded steel stud. Duroplast is a composite thermosetting plastic reinforced with fibers (either cotton or wool), making it a fiber-reinforced plastic similar to fiberglass. It is lightweight yet durable and strong, ideal for use in a wide variety of light/medium-duty applications. The zinc-plated steel of the threaded stud ensures that the threads will endure wear and tear during general use.
