Brad from Molex Dust Cap, 28.6mm Diameter, IP65 - 130058 Series - 65-0300
Protect your connectors from environmental hazards with this Brad from Molex dust cap. It's made of Delrin polyoxymethylene material (POM). This gives it metal-like stiffness and high resistance to wear, so you can count on it to withstand repeated use. A dust cap like this one is frequently used in industrial areas to maintain sealing integrity when a connector isn't mated with the receptacle.

Does this cap conduct electricity?
No – it's made from a material which offers good electrical insulating properties.
Can this dust cap protect the receptacle from immersion in water?
No, it can't. However, Brad from Molex offers a dust cap with a lanyard (67-0300) which is built to the same specification and has an IP67 (ingress protection) rating. This means it's dust-tight and able to withstand 30 minutes immersion in 1m of water.
