Souriau ELIO Fibre Optic 8D Series Backshells, Right Angle or Straight Boot
Souria ELIO backshells for straight or right angled heat shrink boots, suitable for tactical cables or protection tubes for sealed and low mechanical retention applications. These Souriau 8D series ELIO backshells are aluminium bodied with green cadmium plating and are specifically designed to allow for the movement of the contact and its cable within the 8D Series connector assembly, designed to conform to MIL-DTL-38999.

Souriau 8D Optical ELIO series connectors are durable fibre optic connectors designed for use within military and civil aerospace, space and nuclear, marine and geophysical equipment, medical instrumentation, defense and military ground personnel and industrial connector applications. These fibre optic connectors feature a threaded coupling are scoop proof and have bayonet locking contact inserts. Souriau 8D ELIO fibre optoc connectors have a high resistance to harsh environmental factors such as shock and temperature extremes and offer over 500 mating and unmating operations, these connectors have been designed to conform to MIL-DTL-38999 and EN3645 standards.
