The HARTING M12 circular connector with integrated transformer is designed for Power over Ethernet (PoE+) applications. It features an angled PCB adapter with 4 contacts and D-coding for reliable connectivity. The connector is female and shielded, providing protection against external interference. It uses reflow soldering termination (SMT) for secure mounting on the PCB. The insert is MADE of liquid crystal polymer (LCP) in black, ensuring durability and heat resistance. The contacts are MADE of brass with a gold-over-nickel plating on the mating side for superior conductivity and corrosion resistance.
