When you need to securely fix a mechanical component to a shaft, use these RS PRO external circlips. They'll hold a part firmly in place without inhibiting its continuous rotational force.

The rings are supplied in packs of 100 and come in a durable storage compartment to help with organisation. They're easy to install and remove using RS PRO circlip pliers. They fit into a groove on the outside of the shaft that helps to retain it and keep it secure against high rotational speeds.

Thanks to their stainless steel material, these circlips are corrosion-resistant and well-suited for outdoor use. You'll often find these retaining rings used in applications involving turning parts, from roller bearings to wind turbines.
