RS PRO 6 VA 2 Output Chassis Mounting Transformer, 24 V AC
Looking for an efficient way to step voltages up or down between 230 V AC and 24 V AC? This RS PRO chassis-mounting transformer allows you to choose from a range of output currents and voltages.
The double-section bobbin transformer's two independent secondary windings are configurable in series or in parallel, giving you several ways to set up your circuits. The two fixing holes make it easy to install the transformer with wrap-over clamps. For improved dielectric strength, the coils are varnish-impregnated, and fully shrouded bobbins protect the unit from electrical interference.
A permanent product specification label is mounted on the outer casing, which makes installation safe and easy. The transformer is fully flash and electrical tested in accordance with BS3535 and EN 60742, so it's able to withstand high voltages. Isolating transformers of this kind are commonly used with laboratory instruments and medical equipment.
