The TE Connectivity Power Resistor is a wire-wound, crafted from high-quality materials, ensuring excellent reliability and stability. It is designed to efficiently dissipate high power within a compact space while maintaining a relatively low surface temperature. The resistor's aluminium housing facilitates quick heat dissipation to a specified heat sink, making it ideal for pulse applications and high-voltage use. Common applications include braking resistors, balancing resistors, capacitor charging and discharging, crowbar circuits, filters, and general use in electrical machinery.
