The tough anodised aluminium case has a high protection rating of IK10, so it can withstand 20 joules of impact. The electrical life of this button is 1,000,000 cycles at full load, so it's a durable option for appliances and machinery in constant use.
This switch has been thoroughly temperature, salt spray and water-proof tested and has an Ingress Protection (IP) rating of IP68, so it's suitable for marine equipment and water processing plant applications. It's also useful in areas regularly cleaned for hygiene purposes such as hospitals. The thermoplastic housing meets the UL94 V-0 flammability standard for safety and is resistant to UVA and UVB light so suitable for use in strong sunlight or under artificial lamps.
