Keeping track of every wire is a walk in the park when you label them with these cable markers from HellermannTyton. They're pre-printed snap-on identifiers that mark wires with a unique code. You can clip them on by hand or use a WIC applicator tool (408-4917), which lets you load up to 20 numerical labels and then pop them on your cables. Each marker grips securely without rotating to make sure the text is easy to read.
