RS PRO M16 Cable Gland, EPDM, IP67
Looking for a quick and efficient way to feed cables through panels where space is limited? This halogen-free EPDM synthetic rubber membrane cable gland will stop your cables from twisting, coming out of their enclosures while connected to other equipment and chafing against the edges of a cable entry point.
The gland has a thread size of M16 and can accept cable diameters from 5 mm to 9 mm. It will keep out dust and moisture and is rated IP67, meaning it's dust- and moisture-resistant. What's more, it's suitable for use in temperatures from -40°C to +110°C and is halogen-free, so it won't release dangerous compounds if it catches fire.
Part of our stringently tested RS PRO range, this gland can be used in a range of applications from telecommunications to instrumentation. It's not suitable as a direct replacement for traditional cable glands where you need strong, firm retention.
