From Lapp, this Skindicht SM-PE-M Series counter nut is for use with Skindicht EMC graded cable glands. It attaches to the cable gland to ensure a secure connection in pre-drilled bore holes. It also has a secondary function in that in has a cutting edge that cuts through the insulating layer of the attached cable, so that optimum contact is assured.
