SKF Impact Spanner, For 248mm Outer Diameter Lock Nut, 545mm Working Length - TMFN 40-52
Run a tight operation with this impact spanner from SKF. You can use it to safely install and remove larger locknuts, minimising the risk of damage to the nut and shaft. It's especially useful after you've driven a large bearing up onto a tapered seating. The special wide impact face makes it easy to use and apply impact effectively to the nut. Thanks to a 400mm handle, you can achieve the leverage needed to turn the nut with ease.

What's a bearing locknut?
A locknut is used to fit a bearing onto a shaft. It can also be used to mount a bearing with a tapered bore onto a tapered shaft seat. The locknut uses a locking mechanism to secure components such as gears and pulleys. Locking nuts are available with and without keyways.
