What is energy efficiency?

A major benefit to the design of these units is they comply with the Energy Efficiency Level VI Compliance standards. These standards ensure a greater efficiency over Level V units, using less power more efficiently results in lower energy bills and a lower impact on the environment. Making sure that when using the appliance, your carbon footprint is significantly reduced.

What is a desktop power supply?

A desktop power supply is a PSU specifically designed to be used by small items or applications, like laptops, CCTV cameras or chargers. Due to the output of the PSU itself, they wouldn't be a suitable power source for high tech desktops. A PC power supply is created specifically to be used with that computer, where as these units can be interchanged, providing the technical specifications of the appliance meet the PSU's in terms of safety and usability.

Are these units only a laptop power supply?
