The Nightsearcher Megastar is one of the most powerful portable, rechargeable, fluorescent floodlights,. The Megastar uses 4x36W energy saving compact fluorescent tubes, working independently of each other and delivering the equivalent of 1000W tungsten light. The Megastar offers 2 light levels, High and Low and comes complete with light head, extendable tripod, intelligent mains charger and a power pack made of polyethylene plastic, which is virtually unbreakable. The Tripod of the Megastar is robust and lightweight, made in aluminium and with double extending safety locking sections, it locks into the powerpack, using its weight for stability. The Nightsearcher Megastar Floodlight is a fully portable and rechargeable unit and with its battery operated lighting can help reducing CO2 emissions, helping to achieve a low carbon energy future.
The Megastar is ideal for use in applications such as emergency services, military, construction and maintenance sites, sports events and other temporary lighting needs. Six to eight units can illuminate 60x40m training area.
