Timer switches, or time delay lighting switches, are similar to standard wall-mounted light switches but with additional timer functionality. They are suitable as a replacement to most traditional light switches.
The switches are activated manually by button or by PIR sensor.
Timer switches, once activated, turn the light on. Once the set time has passed, or a period of inactivity, the timer switch will turn the light off. The length of time will depend on the switch and some are even adjustable.
Timer switches are ideal for areas which do not require constant light, and can result in saving energy.
