PR Electronics 5115A Ex Signal Calculator
PR Electronics 5115A intrinsically safe programmable transmitter for redundancy measurement of temperature by means of two sensors, where the secondary sensor takes over the measurement when a sensor error occurs on the primary sensor. With a wide variety of jumper selectable inputs for current/voltage or temperature and conversion of linear resistance the 5114 transmitters are suitable for a wide range of temperature measurement applications.
The 5115A transmitter can be configured, with or without a power supply, using the PReset software and the Loop Link communications unit (RS stock number 796-7020).
The 5115A signal conditioner is based on a microprocessor core with an efficient program operation. The basic calibration data and present set-up are stored in an EEPROM thereby avoiding the loss or change of data at power off.
