Use this RS PRO straight nipple joint to connect two other fittings in your plumbing or gas system. It has male pipe threads at each end for a secure connection.
For resistance to corrosion, high temperatures and mechanical damage, the plug's body is made from a robust stainless steel material. There's also an external tapered pipe thread that's suitable for use in high-pressure applications.
This product is Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) compliant, so it contains only minimal levels of any harmful materials. It also conforms to the ASTM (American Society for Testing and Materials) B16.11 specifications for pipework and fittings, meaning the nipple joint will fit standardised parts. This type of stainless steel nipple joint is commonly found in plumbing and natural gas systems as well as oil refinery sites and chemical plants.
