Allen Bradley Absolute Encoder, 10 to 30V DC Supply Voltage, Ethernet Interface - 842E-MIP10BA
Looking for an accurate way to monitor the movement of industrial equipment? Choose this single-turn absolute encoder from Rockwell Automation's Allen Bradley range. When fitted on a moving part, it uses a built-in rotating disc to measure the motion with an ultra-high accuracy of 18 bits. As its shaft is hollow, you can adjust the device to match the motor you're using, which makes it a versatile option. The IP67 rating for its aluminium housing indicates that it's dust-tight and waterproof up to a depth of one metre.
Features & Benefits
• Maximum operating current of 200mA saves energy
• 10/100Mbps transmission speed for use at higher or lower transfer rates
• Aluminium housing is resistant to corrosion so the unit can be used in damp environments
• Operating temperature range between -30°C and +85°C indicates it functions safely in challenging conditions
