The Norgren IVAC clean line cylinder is a magnetic piston, double acting unit with an integrated flow regulator for speed control and a complete functional design featuring an LED display. It has integrated reed or solid state switches, a central polarity-safe electrical connector, and a protection class of IP67, making it suitable for the food and beverage sector. The cylinder and mountings conform to ISO 15552 standards, with length, mounting pitch, and thread dimensions matching ISO 15552, though some outside dimensions differ. It operates with compressed air, filtered and lubricated or non-lubricated, with particle size class 7 and oil class 4 as per ISO 8573-1 (2001). The air supply must be dry enough to prevent condensate, with a pressure dew point at least 15° below the application and working conditions.
