Before you start, you need to check that the vertical spacing between the two chassis you're connecting is a maximum of 153mm. This will ensure you have enough cable to reach from chassis to chassis. You should also take a look at the connector keying – the one for the left socket has a key on the outside of the connector, while the opposite end has it on the inside.
