RS PRO Current Monitoring Relay With SPDT Contacts

Designed for current monitoring, this true RMS (Route Mean Square) multi timer can measure both pure and distorted AC waves. This makes it suitable for environments where currents occur in short pulses, like variable speed motor drives and computers.

It has selectable overcurrent or undercurrent monitoring modes and an adjustable trip level and time delay. The single pole double throw (SPDT) relay is microprocessor-based and boasts high levels of efficiency and speed. Its supply, alarm and relay status are easily viewable with three different coloured LEDs (light-emitting diodes). This component has a 17.5 mm DIN (Deutsches Institut für Normung, or the German Institute for Standardisation) rail housing.

The device is suitable for surfacing mounting using the two clips provided on the rear of the unit. Its flame retardant casing carries UL (Underwriters Laboratories) approval. You'll find the relay conforms to European health, safety and environmental protection legislation for electrical components.
