RS PRO Silicone Transparent Silicone Tubing, 1.6 mm Bore Size, 3m Long, Food Grade, Peristaltic Pump Compatible

This food-grade flexible silicone tubing from RS PRO is well-suited for use in most peristaltic pumps. It's non-toxic, meaning harmful chemicals won't leak out of the silicone. You'll commonly find tubing such as this in spray-coating dispensers.

Resistant to chemicals, abrasion and general wear and tear, it's a sturdy choice in industrial applications. Its resilient composition protects it from damage during a sterilisation process. As it's made with flexible and long-lasting silicone, it's ideal for use with peristaltic pumps, which transport liquids in a tube to prevent cross-contamination.

This transparent silicone tubing complies with BS:2848 standards for flexible insulated sleeving when used in electrical appliances. Use it in food processing and fermentation plants, laboratories or drinks dispensers. As part of the RS PRO series, it's been extensively tested to guarantee high standards.
