Aavid Hi-Contact Liquid Cold Plates
Aavid Hi-Contact™ liquid cold plates ensure minimum thermal resistance between the device and the cold plate by placing the coolant tube in direct contact with the device base plate. Liquid-cooled cold plates offer optimum thermal management for high power IGBT modules. Direct contact reduces the number of thermal interfaces between device and fluid thus increasing performance. Hi-Contact™ designs use a patented mechanical attachment along with a thin layer of thermal epoxy to ensure the best possible thermal performance.
