Wurth WR-FPC 0.50mm FPC ZIF Connectors, Bottom Contact with Hinged Actuator
WR-FPC 0.5 mm SMT FPC ZIF connectors with a bottom contact configuration and hinged flip-lock actuator. These 0.5mm FPC ZIF connectors have a low profile, lightweight, space saving design and meet the increasing demand for high density, secure connections in a wide range of miniaturised electronic applications. A mating connector is not required with these FPC SMT ZIF connectors, the cable is inserted directly into the connector providing a cost effective one connector wire to board solution. These WR-FPC 0.5 mm FPC connectors feature a flip-lock hinge type actuator which secures the connection between the FFC/FPC and the connector terminals. A solder retention feature helps to secure the connector to the PCB during the soldering process. Typical applications for these 0.5mm FPC ZIF connectors include applications where a connection to a small display or keyboard is required.
