This long-reach float switch from Sensata Cynergy3 accurately monitors both high and low fluid levels in a tank. It has an upper-level reach of 25mm and a lower-level reach of 175mm, making it compatible with various system requirements. The unit's stainless steel composition makes the component resistant to corrosion for a long service life. It's also resistant to acids and other harsh chemicals, so it's suitable for use in laboratories and testing facilities.

How does a flow switch stop the flow of liquid into a tank when it's full?

A flow switch is electrically connected to another device, such as a pump. When a tank is full, it sends a signal to the pump to let it know when to switch off. When the tank's lower level is reached, the switch signals the pump to turn on.
