RS PRO 72 VA DIN Rail Transformer, 115 V AC Primary 1 x, 24 V AC Secondary

Use this DIN (Deutsches Institut für Normung, the German Institute for Standardisation) rail transformer from RS PRO in both residential and commercial settings to make sure electrical devices run on the current mains voltage.

Transformers transfer electricity from one circuit to another without changes in frequency. They're used when an electrical item uses a lower voltage power than is available from a mains socket. This applies to a wide range of pluggable devices, from audio and video equipment to household appliances.

This model of transformer has a single output, a primary voltage rating of 115 V AC and a power rating of 72 VA, which means it's suitable for use in general applications.

The DIN rail mounting option is quick and easy to install as well as space-saving. This quality controlled transformer also conforms to safety standards EN 61558-2-4 and EN 61558-2-6 for transformers up to 1100 V.
