The Yuasa YCP03A12 is a 12V intelligent battery charger with a current of 300mA. It has a voltage (buck) rating of 14.5 V and a voltage (float) rating of 13.7V.

Yuasa Intelligent Battery Chargers


The YCP series Battery Chargers from Yuasa provide the fastest possible way to recharge the battery without overcharging. These UK-plug chargers compensate for self-discharge to hold the battery at peak charge ready for use. The Yuasa Intelligent Battery Chargers are controlled by a microprocessor which means a battery can be left on charge until required, there will be no overcharging. It features short circuit protection, which prevents damage to the charger if the DC output is short-circuited, reverse polarity protection, that prevents damage to the charger if the battery is connected in reverse and a visual indication of the operation.

The Yu-Power series includes battery chargers for VRLAs, cars and motorcycles. These chargers work with valve-regulated lead-acid batteries.

Is this charger supplied with clamps?

No, the charger is supplied with YPCCLIP (Torbury to clips) adaptor only. Compatible battery clamps are RS stock no: 753-4711

Can these chargers be used outdoor?

No, Yuasa Yu-PowerTM battery chargers have been designed for indoor use only.
